For online retailers

When your own store needs to carry more of the sale.

This is for a Singapore retail owner who sells through marketplaces but needs their own website to explain the range clearly, build confidence and give customers a direct route to enquire or buy.

A store that is hard to use on a phone

Product pages, menus or contact details are difficult to use at phone width, where most visits happen.

Traffic with no clear next step

Visitors browse, then leave because the product, delivery question, WhatsApp link or checkout route is buried.

A business that has outgrown its old site

The site no longer reflects your product range, current brand or the way customers now buy from you.

A site controlled by someone else

You need your own domain, hosting and logins, and pages your team can update without changing code.

Before we quote. Send your site or store link, the product range, the pages you need and the result you want. If the site is already doing its job, we will say whether a targeted fix makes more sense than rebuilding it.

Website project steps

See the home page before the rest is built.

A typical SME website takes two to four weeks, depending on the page count and how quickly your text and images are ready. We agree the page list first, then build the home page early so you can see the direction on a real phone and laptop.

  1. 01Review and quote

We look at your current site, store and comparable businesses, agree the pages you need and send a written quote.

  2. 02Plan the customer route

We decide where a visitor should go from each page: product, collection, enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone call or checkout.

  3. 03Build the home page

We design and build the home page first using your logo, colours, product information and images.

  4. 04Build and review

We build the remaining pages, place your content and include two rounds of changes. You check the site on your own phone and laptop.

  5. 05Launch and show your team

We point the domain, set redirects where old URLs change, check tracking and walk your team through editing the pages.

Included in the website build

The pages and routes your customers need.

The final page list is agreed before we quote. A brochure website and an online store are scoped differently, so you can see what is included before work starts.

  • A written page list and website scope
  • A home page built first for your review
  • Mobile-first pages built around your brand, products and content
  • Forms, WhatsApp and click-to-call routes connected to your inbox
  • Page titles, descriptions, structured data and sitemap
  • Google Search Console and analytics set up at launch
  • Domain and SSL connection
  • Redirects for old addresses that change
  • Two rounds of changes before launch
  • An editing walkthrough for your team

Website cost and scope

A written scope before the build starts.

FromQuoted by
page list

The cost depends on the number of pages, what content is ready and whether the project is a brochure website or a store. We quote after the page list is agreed. Hosting, domains and paid apps are registered in your name and billed directly to you.

Your website quote can include

  • Page planning and website structure
  • Design and build for the agreed pages
  • Mobile and speed checks
  • Forms, WhatsApp and click-to-call routes
  • Search basics, analytics and Search Console
  • Two review rounds and an editing walkthrough

Copywriting, photography, video, hosting, domains, paid apps, ongoing SEO and ads are quoted separately where needed. Further changes after the two included review rounds are charged by the day.

Website project timing

2–4 weeks for a typical SME website.

A typical SME website takes two to four weeks. The page count and the speed at which text, product details and images are supplied decide the final timing. Your written quote sets out the page list and launch date.

What helps the project move

  • A current site or store link to review
  • Product information, prices, images and brand assets ready to use
  • One person who can approve the page list and changes
  • Clear decision on the main route: enquiry, checkout or both

What can add time

  • A larger page list or product range
  • New copy, photography or video still to be prepared
  • A move to a new store platform or new integrations
  • Changes beyond the two included review rounds

*Typical website timeline for an SME site. The final timing depends on the page list and when content is ready.

Before your site goes live

The customer routes we check at launch.

A site needs to work in the moments when a customer is ready to check a product, ask a question or buy. We test the practical routes before launch, not only the layout on a large screen.

01

The site works at phone width

We check navigation, product information, buttons and forms at real phone widths, where most Singapore traffic arrives.

02

The important page loads quickly

Images are compressed and the site is built without page-builder bloat, so a visitor can get to the product or contact route without waiting.

03

Every page has a next step

Each agreed page has a visible route to a product, collection, enquiry form, WhatsApp, call or checkout.

04

Enquiries reach the right place

We test the form, WhatsApp button and click-to-call link, then confirm the messages go to the inbox or phone you use.

05

Search basics are present

Titles, descriptions, structured data and sitemap are added at build time. Search Console is connected so you can see indexing issues.

06

Old links keep working

Where an existing address changes, we set a redirect so customers and search results do not arrive at a missing page.

    Web design questions

What to know before you ask for a quote.

Short answers for Singapore retail owners planning their website. For a neutral quote comparison, read the 10 questions to ask a web designer.

How much does web design cost in Singapore?

The cost depends on the page list, whether your content is ready and whether you need a brochure site or a store. We agree the scope first, then send a written quote. Hosting, domains and paid apps are registered in your name and billed directly to you.

How long does a website take?

A typical SME website takes two to four weeks. The usual delay is waiting for text, product details or images. A larger product range, new photography, a platform move or extra changes can add time.

What do you need from me to quote the project?

Send your current website or store link, the product range, the pages you think you need, your business goal and any deadline. Also send your logo, brand assets and existing product images if they are ready. After a short call, we provide a written quote and page plan.

Can I update the site myself after launch?

Yes. Pages are built so your team can edit them without changing code. We walk you through the editing process at launch. If you prefer ZES to make later changes, that can be arranged separately.

Will my existing Google rankings disappear?

We keep existing addresses where we can and set redirects for addresses that change. We also add page titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap and Search Console at build time. Search rankings still depend on many factors, so no ranking result is promised.

Should I use WordPress or Shopify?

For most SME brochure sites, WordPress makes it easier to find someone to work on the site later. For a shop, Shopify is usually the better route than adding a store to a brochure site. We choose the platform that fits what you sell and how customers buy.

Do you write the website copy?

Copywriting is not included in a standard website build. We lay out the words you provide, which keeps your product claims and brand voice accurate. If you need writing, we can quote it separately.

Can I see examples of websites you have built?

Yes. We share client work privately rather than publishing it on this page. Send your store link, industry and the type of pages you need, and we will send examples relevant to your project.
