How much does Shopify development cost in Singapore?
It depends on the job, so we quote each piece of work after seeing the store and agreeing what needs to change. A custom section is a smaller job than a theme built from scratch. Your Shopify plan and paid apps are billed directly to you by Shopify or the app provider.
Will my store go down while you work on it?
Development happens on an unpublished copy of the theme, so your live store keeps selling while we build. We publish after you review the agreed work, then check the relevant live path on mobile and desktop.
Can you work with the theme I already bought?
Usually, yes. We work with free and premium themes, and keep changes in places that survive theme updates where possible. If the current theme is genuinely blocking the job, we will explain why before you spend money changing it.
Do I need a monthly retainer?
No. Most Shopify work is scoped and quoted as a single job. If you need regular small changes after that, we can discuss an ongoing arrangement, but it is not a condition of starting a project.
Should I use an app instead?
Often, yes. An app may be the lower-cost answer for a common need. We recommend development when the app does not fit your selling process, when several apps are being used to imitate one feature, or when a change needs to connect with your own systems.
Can you connect Shopify to our other systems?
Yes. ZES has connected stores to marketplaces, accounting systems, inventory sheets and internal tools using the Shopify Admin API, so stock and orders do not need to be re-entered by hand. We first agree the data, trigger, destination and staff checks required for the connection.
