SME Grants in Singapore (2026): Which One Fits Your Project
The grants a Singapore SME can use for automation, digitalisation, standards and growth, what each pays, and which one to apply for after 30 September 2026.
6 min readFrom 30 September 2026 most SME grants in Singapore come under one scheme, the EDGE grant. It pays up to 70% of a qualifying project for SMEs, capped at $100,000 per company per year. Below is every grant we work with, what it pays and who it is for.
Key takeaways
- EDG, PSG and MRA close to new applications on 29 September 2026. EDGE replaces all three from 30 September.
- You apply by what you want to do, not by scheme. Eight business areas, over 100 activities.
- SMEs get up to 70%. Larger companies get up to 50%.
- Digital and automation projects have a $30,000 sub-cap inside the $100,000.
- Apply before you sign a contract or pay a vendor. Money spent before approval is not claimable.

Frequently asked questions
Can I still apply for PSG or EDG?
Only until 29 September 2026. From 30 September the same projects go through EDGE.
I applied for EDG or PSG before the cut-off. What happens?
Your application is assessed under the scheme you applied to. Tell us your case and we check the transition rule that applies.
Is the $100,000 per project?
No. Per company per financial year, across all EDGE activities, resetting on 1 April. Projects above that go to EnterpriseSG for case-by-case review.
Is the grant paid up front?
No. EDGE is a reimbursement. You pay the vendor, complete the project, then claim. Plan cash flow for the full amount first.
Can I change vendor after applying?
No. Only the end date and claim date can be changed after submission. Any other change means terminating and reapplying.
Does the consultant fee count?
For activities that require a certified management consultant, the consultancy fee is part of the qualifying cost. We confirm this against the activity list for your project.
How long does approval take?
EnterpriseSG's published processing times range from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on the activity. Do not sign or pay anything until the approval letter is issued.
