PSG Grant Singapore: Closes 29 Sep 2026, What Replaces It
The Productivity Solutions Grant closes to new applications on 29 September 2026. From 30 September the same software, equipment and automation projects go through EDGE at a higher rate. Here is what changes and what to do.
5 min readThe Productivity Solutions Grant closes to new applications on 29 September 2026. From 30 September 2026, the projects PSG funds are applied for under the EDGE grant, at up to 70% for SMEs instead of 50%. The $30,000 digital and automation cap carries over as a sub-cap inside EDGE.
Key takeaways
- PSG takes applications until 29 September 2026 only. After that there is no PSG form.
- EDGE covers the same ground: software, equipment, automation, digital tools.
- Support for SMEs went up from 50% to 70%.
- Apply before you buy. Purchases made before approval are not claimable.
- The pre-approved vendor list model is being replaced by an activity list. Check the live list, not old vendor pages.
What PSG is
PSG is EnterpriseSG's grant for off-the-shelf productivity. You pick a solution from a pre-approved list, buy it from a listed vendor, and claim up to 50% back, capped at $30,000 per company per year. Typical uses are accounting software, point of sale, inventory systems, HR and payroll, e-commerce platforms and some equipment.
The limit is the list. If the tool you need is not on it, or the vendor is not listed, PSG does not apply. Custom automation is mostly out.
What replaces it
EDGE. One grant with eight business areas and over 100 activities. Digital and automation is one of the areas. You describe what you want to do, EnterpriseSG matches it to an activity and applies the rate.
| PSG (until 29 Sep 2026) | EDGE (from 30 Sep 2026) | |
|---|---|---|
| Support, SME | Up to 50% | Up to 70% |
| Cap | $30,000 per year | $30,000 sub-cap for digital and automation, inside $100,000 total |
| What qualifies | Pre-approved solutions only | Activities on the EDGE list, published 30 Sep 2026 |
| Custom automation | Rarely | Assessed as an activity |
| Consultant fee | Not covered | Covered where the activity requires a certified consultant |

What is different under EDGE
- Higher rate. A $20,000 project that got $10,000 under PSG can get up to $14,000 under EDGE.
- Wider scope. A custom build that links your WhatsApp, quote template and accounting software can be assessed. Under PSG it could not.
- One cap for everything. The $100,000 per year is shared across all your EDGE projects. A big overseas marketing project uses the same pool as your software.
- No SFEC top-up. The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit does not apply to EDGE. Final SFEC claims on old grants close 30 November 2026.
- No vendor changes after submission. Choose the vendor before you apply.
How to apply under EDGE
Define the project. What is done by hand today, what the tool or automation will do, and what changes. One page is enough.
Get the quote. From the vendor or the consultant who will build it. Scope, deliverables, timeline, price.
Match the activity. Find the EDGE activity the project falls under and confirm the rate.
Submit on the Business Grants Portal. Company details, project description, quote, financials.
Wait for the letter. Then sign, pay, build, and claim with proof of payment and completion.

Frequently asked questions
Is PSG really closing?
Yes. EnterpriseSG closes PSG, EDG and MRA to new applications on 29 September 2026 and launches EDGE on 30 September 2026.
I bought software last month. Can I claim it under EDGE?
No. Only projects approved before purchase are claimable. This was also the PSG rule.
Do I still need a pre-approved vendor?
EDGE works off an activity list rather than a vendor list. The list is published on 30 September 2026. We check your vendor and project against it before you apply.
What is the maximum I can get for software?
Digital and automation activities have a $30,000 sub-cap per company per year inside the $100,000 EDGE cap.
Can a company with 250 staff apply?
Yes, at the non-SME rate of up to 50%. Under PSG it could not.
How long does EDGE approval take?
Several weeks depending on the activity. Build it into your timeline and do not start the project before the letter.
Can ZES do both the build and the application?
Yes. That is our usual arrangement for automation and AI projects. One scope, one quote, one point of contact.
